How to Choose the Right Size...
We carry a variety of bracelet styles and sizes. To determine which size is right for you, follow these guidelines:
Link bracelets:
Wrap a piece of string around your wrist snugly.
If it measures 6 ˝” or less, you will most likely be comfortable with a
7” bracelet. If it measures greater than this, you
will need an 8” or 9” bracelet. Some people like bracelets to be tight
and some like them to be loose, so you have to use your own judgment.
You do not want it to be so big that it can roll off without opening the
clasp. Most of the link bracelet styles come in 7” and 8” lengths.
Some come in 9”, too. They can also be custom-sized to the ˝” if
necessary.
NOTE: For children’s wrists, it is
suggested that you go with a 7” link. These can be “linked short,”
meaning that they can be clasped onto one of the links that is farther
in from the end, with an inch or two of the bracelet left to dangle
down. The benefit of this is that they can grow into it. Usually by
the time a child is 8-10 years old, the 7” will fit her, and there will
be no need to purchase a new, adult-size bracelet. However, if you would prefer
a custom fit, they can be sized down.
Bangle bracelets:
Follow the guidelines for link bracelet
measurements. If you would normally require an 8” or 9” bracelet, you
will most likely need a large bangle. The
adult cuff bangle is a nice
alternative if you don’t know the exact size you need, as it can fit as
a medium or a large. It is “bendable” and without a clasp, so it fits
many sizes of wrists.
